Aesop Rock and Lupe Fiasco's DIY Fundraiser

In a location often overlooked by broader social initiatives, Aesop Rock, producer Blockhead and Chicago rap stalwart Lupe Fiasco caught wind of the Dayton skate community’s efforts, so a collaboration seemed like a no-brainer. “Pumpkin Seeds” was created in an effort to help nonprofit organization The Collaboratory raise funds and awareness for two DIY skateparks in Dayton, Ohio: Claridge Park in Central Dayton and Home Ave in West Dayton. The trio is also giving away a 7” vinyl and collector's deck to help get these projects along.
