RIP IN PEACE: Rodney Johnson

On January 27th, 2020 we lost one of the best humans and my dear friend. Rodney and I shared such a special bond that you don’t get much with others—from our passion for the same music and records, to endless hours of reciting quotes from the movie Friday, our love of tight button ups, to our own made-up lingo that only we understood, we just got each other. He even gave my daughter the nickname Little Red after years of calling me Red. I still call her that today! I love this man with all my heart and will miss his smile and laughter dearly. We travelled the world together and had so many adventures. One time we got held up by the Russian mafia in a small town in Europe somewhere. They blocked us in our hotel and we couldn’t leave until World Industries wired them $8,000. Why this happened, I’ll keep that to myself and the others who where there. Rodney brightened everyone’s day who was around him and he brought so much love and joy to mine. It was a pleasure and honor to have you in my life, Rodney, and I am heartbroken over this. I love you, Bubba. Stills and skins forever. My heart goes out to Ann and his sweet baby Georgia. —Mike Crum
